Koktebel Jazz Festival will be held in Kyiv

Since September 6 to 8, 2019, the Koktebel Jazz Festival will be held in Kiev on Trukhanov Island.

The famous jazz festival will be held in Kiev for the first time in its 17-year history. Organizers promise to experiment with new formats. At the Koktebel Jazz Festival, you can hear artists such as Klaus Dolls, Royalties, Goncharova Project, Grozovska Band, Usein Bekirov Quartet and many others.

Four residences are planned at the festival: “Island of Crimea”, Koktebel beach Club, Koktebel Jazz and children’s residence “Jazz Kids”. The themes of each of the residences intertwine and merge into a general character and atmosphere.

On Friday, September 6, the festival will host a retrospective of the legendary Crimean rock and the no less cult Crimean rock club “2 Captains”. Visitors will be able to hear performances by Lithium, Klaus Dolls, AVA and Shatur-Gudur.

On Saturday, September 7, listeners can enjoy the music of Dreamdrift, Usein Bekirov Quartet, Atomic Simao.

On Sunday, September 8th, Blake Moloka, DAAMAGE, and Royale will perform. There will be film screenings, the traditional Open Stage will work, where new Ukrainian music, performances from the PostPlay Theater, and more can be announced.

In addition, visitors to the Jazz Festival can taste traditional Crimean Tatar cuisine.
