default_90789-300x300[1]The authorities of several countries imposed restrictions on the transportation of bulk materials in the hand luggage of air passengers.

US, Australia and New Zealand have begun to demand that the volume of bulk materials in hand luggage of the passengers does not exceed 12 ounces (340 grams) or 350 milliliters.

However, in the United States, these requirements are extended so far only for flights arriving from other countries. Some other countries, including the UK, are considering the possibility of introducing similar measures.

Exceptions are provided for baby food and medications for which there is a prescription. At the same time some “inorganic” bulk substances like sand, salt and the like can not be allowed to enter the salon at all.

In addition, on flights to the United States can additionally separately check large electronic devices, books and magazines.
